Already a busy weekend with going to Longleat yesterday but we had vouchers for the Hawk Conservancy to use up and since it was Rogers birthday today it seemed a good day to use them. We didn't rush getting up after our early rise yesterday so by the time we headed out we weren't going to make the first show so we stopped for lunch at a Harvester before arriving at the Hawk Conservancy in time for their afternoon shows. Their shows are always spectacular and they were no different today but their new arrivals four cute Burrowing Owls had to feature as my blip today. They have a brand new enclosure with a tunnel to walk through their aviary from which you can peep through the windows at their antics. One of them threw themselves into the grasses and ended up on their back (in extras). For a few seconds we wondered if we should call a keeper but they soon righted themselves and did it again before one of the others joined in. Funny little things.
