Needle and thread

I don't know much about sewing, I can just about sew a button on.
This is a small needle with standard cotton, With a lot of faffing about with a tripod, extension tubes, and a remote shutter release I managed to get this. The needle was stuck into a candle and placed on a small table to get it into a position to catch the image.
