Life's Little Moments

By dbifulco

Getting by with a little help from my friends...

A fab day at the New Jersey shore with my naturalist friends.  Many bird sightings and also some very interesting insects.  I chose an American Copper butterfly and a Locust Borer Beetle (a first for me) to help me announce the TinyTuesday picks for this week.  I honestly had such a hard time choosing my favorites!

Tiny Locust Borer Hearts go to:
AH14 for a most spectacular buttterfly
Plenitude for an image that I found myself so drawn to that I had to keep going back for another look
Crispin57 for a fabulously detailed shield bug
JDO for her wonderful cranky hoverfly
SimpleMoments for her beautifully isolated shot of a pink marble

And Copper HM's to the following:
Isbi for her beautiful harbinger of spring
Incredibish for all the hairy little details on a not-so-small spider
Torag for showing us a completely new look at a common item
Missycat for proving that you can never keep a Blipper (even a tiny one) down
Evolab for some vividly colored asters with a bonus
John39 for an interesting macro of a common item

Thank you to everyone who participated this week - I love the way you all embraced the real essence of the TinyTuesday challenge and I look forward to seeing what you have in store for me next week!
