The red tin roof in the trees

The late summer weather has meant we didn't get a chance to paint the red tin roof - it will have to wait until next year now.

Hoping the weather forecast and the ferries have allowed those farmers taking lambs to market today, to get home again.  A couple of years ago S took the last of our lambs to market and the ferry, full of farmers and their livestock, spent 6 hours going round and round in the lee of Lismore. By the time the ferry finally landed at Oban and dropped off their lambs at the mart, the sale was over and they had missed the last ferry home!  The farmers all had to stay a night in Oban, and the livestock was taken to another sale in Stirling a few days later.
