Travel plans by train

My day so far:

04:45
Get up.

05:50
Train to London (work on grant proposal).

10:15
Meeting in London.

13:30
Train north again (more work on grant proposal).

16:39
Arrival at Newcastle.

16:55
Train to Haydon Bridge (read my book on the train because it was too packed to get out my laptop).

17:46
Both parents meet me at the station for a couple of hours with them. My father is obviously poorly, but not quite at death's door as far as I can tell. Nevertheless, he believes that this is the last time that I will see him alive.

20:50
Train to Newcastle (planned to work, but end up chatting to a BBC producer who is working part-time on a PhD on the ethics of digital personhood).

22:05
Board train to Edinburgh - the last one of the day (finish book, edit the grant proposal further, blip).

23:29
Expected to arrive in Edinburgh.

My blip is of the post-it note that has kept me on track with the trains all day.

Exercise today: walking (9708 steps). Sore knee turning into sore leg :-(
