My Aim is True

Porty baths

Ikea and B&Q (god, I am growing to hate those places). Then to get rid of the stress a walk along Portobello prom. Ages since we'd been there - had forgotten how nice it is. And v posh new flats been built, they look good, but nothing beats Portobello Baths, which look wonderful.

Finished off our stroll with a coffee - what a shame that a place with a great location is such a dump - dire service, and if you had a sea view would you not use that as a selling point, rather than having filthy windows? There were two teenagers gossping, 2 ladies who had obviously exahusted themselves at the Easter sales, a group of earnest German tourists. The barman was in his 50s and it was 5.30 pm - so why was he playing a sort of grunge/rap/punk-esque CD at FULL volume? I despair!
