A day off

I didn't walk today because I had to nurse a blistered heel and to try to recover from the aftermath of last week's cold. (Bit wheezy and generally not 100%.)

So it's been a quiet day. I did a bit of admin and slept.

We have not intentionally grown sunflowers this year, but under the sunflower seed feeder a large one has managed to come into bloom just when the weather has changed dramatically. It was raining when I ventured out to photograph it. The bee was trying to shelter, but was not succeeding. I felt sorry for it.

If you look closely, you will see that the bee is not the only fauna that is sheltering in the petals!

Still deciding whether I can walk tomorrow.
