90th Anniversary, Where it all began.

90 years ago today, Howard Carter officially opened and showed the World, the tomb of The Boy King, Tutankhamun.

To celebrate and mark (What is possibly the most famous person in Egyptian history) The Minister of Tourism, The Minister of Antiquities, The Governor of Luxor, Dr Ezzat Saad, Earl and Countess Carnarvon, Ambassadors from around the World, including HE Anne Patterson, the American Ambassador, gathered along with the Worlds media, at the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.

The Tomb of Merenptah was also opened especially for the day.

This is the Earl and Countess Carnarvon, at the entrance of King Tut's tomb, KV62.
