Bird with a broken wing

Just over 31 years ago, on my first visit to Pembrokeshire, I bought two mobiles from a craft shop in St David’s. One, of rainbows, was for Tom’s (then 2 1/2) room; unfortunately, it lasted only a couple of years before the rainbows disintegrated. This one was for the nursery, which became Lucy’s room, and the seven birds have been ‘flying’ ever since; amazing, given that they have survived several house moves!

Now, though, one of the birds has a broken wing, and the leading is deteriorating on most of the others. When I have time, I shall do my best to mend them, so they can all fly again.
