Formby Beach

We were orienteering at Formby Dunes this morning; it was cool and bright so good for running. I did ok but slow whereas S had a great run. The cloud gradually disappeared and we went for a walk to the beach as well as looking at a couple of control sites, We could see Snowdonia and the Lake District but not the Isle of Man; perhaps we needed to be higher as the visibility was good. The blip is of the beach and the hills of Wales west of Snowdonia; the first extra a detail from the beach and the second one of my controls that we looked at. I have to confess I didn’t see the view when orienteering so I must have been concentrating.
