Rocky Mountain Moments

By pipersmom

The Calm....

....before the storm.  At least that's what the weather people are saying.  It was such a beautiful day.  Only 67/19.4 but bright, warm sunshine and hardly any breeze.  There were lots of people on the little lake on paddle boards and kayaks, lots of dogs out walking with their humans and kids climbing trees.  I think we were all just so happy to see the sun after 8 dreary days in a row.  But....the temperature is going to drop and it will start snowing around midnight and continue through the day tomorrow.  Our high temperature tomorrow is supposed to be 25/-3.8 and we could get up to 6 inches of snow.  Stay tuned :-)

Don't forget that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM).   A click on this link will take you to the Breast Cancer website.  Another click on the "Click to Give" button will help fund mammograms for those who can't afford them.  It takes less than 2 minutes and it's free, an easy way to help the cause. :-)

Thanks to everyone for all your comments and stars and hearts over the last few days.  I'll try to catch up with all of you tomorrow.

I am grateful that I took time to go for a walk on this beautiful day.  Also glad that I went to the market and got all the makings for soup tomorrow.  My sister requested that I make "Grama's soup" before she leaves next weekend so tomorrow is the day. :-)
