Obstruction

We were back in our old village again today as hubby had a dental appointment. This went well, apart from one small filling being needed which the dentist did there and then. We then went for lunch at the nearby cafe. I had a very tasty Ploughman’s with cheddar (masses of it, but I ate it all!) and Stuart had Coronation chicken with jacket potato. Afterwards, we had a walk up our old road which has this big area cordoned off for use by the workmen who are replacing the gas pipes in the area. I have put another photo in extras showing the length of the area. When we walked further along our old neighbours were outside the house and we had a good chat. We miss each other! They have lived in their house since it was built in the 1960’s - one of the few remaining original occupants of the estate.

We had a good journey home and are now waiting for our grocery delivery to arrive.
