Alsfeld Old Town

I took the boys for a morning walk in Alsfeld (Germany) at 7.30 am and met Helle for breakfast at 8.15. 

We packed the car and took the dogs for another walk in the beautiful old part of Alsfeld. It was lovely.

And then the journey home started. 700 km and a ferry. And I have never seen so many traffic issues in one trip! We got stuck again and again. At one point we held with the engine off for half an hour or so on the motorway. It was so frustrating. 

We had 2 small stops to walk dogs, use the toilet and eat something. Otherwise we just drove....

I was home at 10 pm and went straight to bed.
