Long journey

I left work at 12.45 after a full mornings' meeting (a good one mind). My sat nav stated my journey would take 3.5 hours. It didn't.

It took me 2.5 hours just to get to the M6 tolls but I was hoping when I got there it would be smooth sailing. It wasn't.

A complete standstill for ages as soon as I got the toll road. Photo is the tolls in my wing mirror, happy to be on my way.

I finally got to Pizza Express in Manchester at 6.15pm. It was brilliant to see my friend Steph who has moved up there.

All good in the end.
