Lake Coleridge.

I have  a friend from Australia staying for a few days. Today we had a bit of a trip up towards Lake Coleridge.
those of you near my age and who live in NZ may remember a book which came out in 60/70s. It was called "A River rules My Life"-author Mona Anderson. Mona lived on Algidus Station and had to cross the (?) Wilberforce River to go anywhere. An amazing story. today we saw their post box, and along the road was a large tractor which I presume is how they get backwards and forwards across river these days. Some of these women were amazing.
