The bbq season begins

A week ago we had sleet and hail, this evening it's warm and my first bbq is underway. What a difference a week makes.

Snarlers made by the butcher who brings his truck out here once a week, fresh asparagus, and a cold beer. A salad rounded it out.

I finished my working week feeling good about where I've left things and we have a long weekend to look forward to.

Today's gratitude: For feeling contented.
