Roadtrip

A busy day...I needed to be in Northumberland after a trip to the opticians in Edinburgh so decided to drive down the A68/A697 rather than back down the A1. The journey was very pleasant with some blue skies and sunshine. The autumn colours were spectacular, driving through avenues of gold, russets and reds in many places. I was desperate to stop and get the camera out but there was never anywhere sensible to park! I did pull into the lay-by on the top of Soutra for this pic though.
I had the same problem on the A1 driving home in the sunset!
