Little Eva - Mama Said (1970)
Little Eva is of course best remembered for her couple of big hits, The Locomotion and Keep Your Hands Off My Baby, but had a minor hit in 1970 on a different record label with this re-arrangement of the Shirelles' 1961 single, Mama Said. It turned up as a selection for The Chain on Stuart Maconie's 6 Music show today.
