Having just recovered from a cold I was somewhat alarmed to read that Facebook have submitted a request for  a patent that would allow Alexa, their digital assistant, to pick up coughs and sneezes so that it could target cold remedies at you.
 
Where will it end?
 
Delighted to receive another bouquet of flowers through the post today from my nephews  and nieces in London.
