Picnic (Not) At Hanging Rock

I had a lovely day taking our P.E./Music teacher, Jane Stackhouse, and her three boys up to the Rock Garden on Mount Rokko. The boys did a great job of clambering over the rocks to get to our destination, just under 500 meters overlooking Ashiya and Osaka. They were already complaining of being tired before we even set foot on the mountain so I was very pleased that they recovered their energy and thoroughly enjoyed their climb.

A shame we didn't get our fish and chips at the Clapham Inn when we returned to Ashiya. Perhaps another day.

Very similar scenery. (Far more practical hiking gear these days.)
