More Wedding Shooting

Neil and I loaded the car up with gear an props and drove to Edinburgh to meet Jochen and Anna for more shooting.
We were there at 1030 am and walked all together, with family, on Carlton Hill.
It was windy and cold - despite sunny.
We took a few shots then send the family away. We then continued to shoot a bit, but it was too crowded!
We got into the car and drove to Arthurs Seat. We scouted locations and views and found a lovely place in the sun which was sheltered and looked like we were in the middle of the highlands.
Neil was the perfect assistant looking after everything!
Being light stand, coat hanger, carrier, hugger for cold brides and much more!!!
We spent at least 2 hours there before Anna needed some warmth. Despite sheltered and sunny, we had about 5-6 degrees only.
It was after 3 pm already before we moved on to Portobello (sorry Jon - there was no time) had a coffee, a cake and a tea. In the meantime the weather had changed and it was windy and raining. Perfect for the last shoot of the day! Bride and groom in wellies with their cunning umbrella, that did not die in the wind, just collapsed to be reassembled.
We had a lot of fun and used strong lighting for the last photos.

At 7 pm we had finally wrapped up and delivered the couple back at their hotel. I was exhausted and had far too many photos on my cards ......

Neil was driving home as I was knackered.
On the way home we stopped at Paesano and put us on the waiting list for a table.
We unloaded the car a bit, got changed and went down to Paesano for Pizza and wine!! A good end for a good day.
I did not look at pictures - I honestly could not face the reality, that I have hundreds of images to go through .......

Thus a back blip!!

Blipping one of the Mary Poppins shots.
Plus one extra in the "Highland"s.
There are many more, and I may blip some at a later stage in the extras.
