Yandhai Bridge Opens

Beckett got there first a couple of days ago (darn it) but today I finally managed to cross the Nepean River via its exciting new pedestrian/cyclist bridge named "Yandhai" which is evidently a word from the local indigenous Darug language. Yorkshirebred has been kind enough to do some research and apparently it means “walking in the path of past and present”.

I did blip this project a few months ago while it was still under construction. The three extras may help to give you an idea what it's like. The project is evidently noteworthy for having crossed this broad stream in a single, unsupported 200 metre span.
