Mirror

A beautiful crossing with mirror calm seas; driving along the top of Caithness, the Hoy cliffs stood out like a big, warm, sentinel slab and the Dunnet Bay breakers slapped on a great shiny expanse of sand.

The drive through the Highlands was uneventful and as glorious as it can be, if cold. We hit England and drizzle later in the day. Now on the last leg after 13 hours. We'll be back before midnight.
