Foodfight At The OK Feeder

...with apologies to Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday and others.whose names I forget.

The scene looks peaceful now, but ten minutes earlier there were scuffles, squabbles, aerial fights and general mayhem.   We counted nine goldfinches involved at one point.  Eventually these three won out and all of the others flew away.  Impossible to capture on camera, although someone cleverer than me may have been able to.  I loved the way one stayed on guard watching the big tree from where the opposition had appeared.
