Autumn Beech Leaves

Had a meeting at Weston Park this morning.  They have asked for some images to fill the space in their gallery in the coming months so I've let them have some of the framed images from my 2016 exhibition.

Seemed to good an opportunity to miss not to get some images at the same time.  I don't think I've ever seen the park so colourful.  Speaking to the head gardener, he's expecting a lot of the leaves to fall with the weather forecast for the weekend.  We'll soon be seeing skeletal trees again, a sure sign of winter coming.

Although it was predominantly cloudy I was quite chuffed to get a weak bit of sunlight on the trunk of the tree.  I'm not sure it made a lot of difference to the brightness of the leaves!
