Having arrived at the R.L. Hut by 11am I managed to fit a walk in, up the path at the side of Stickle Ghyll to Stickle Tarn descending via Blea Rigg and Great Castle How.  There was a nice little scramble up the right hand side of the Ghyll, near the top, which I did because it was the only bit of anything resembling climbing that was likely to take place this weekend!  On the way down I proved to myself that my navigation could be better...
