Kitchen Sink Drama

I was pleased to see this wee mantis still on the daisies where I put it a few days ago. It had not been happy about being moved there, preferring perhaps to be taken back to the baby spinach plants. However, I was not willing to risk it. Believe me, there is nothing more poignant than seeing a mantis nymph in the praying pose looking up at you from a colander of vegetables in the kitchen sink.
