Goldfinch

I like this shot but, to be honest, I'm a little frustrated by it.

It would easy to put it down to my gear the Zuiko 300mm zoom is slower than I'm used to and at full length it's unwieldy and my OM is too light to counterbalance it.

However, I'm not a wildlife photographer, and I think I'm pushing my technique to it's current limits.


Also the birds are, totally, feeding in the wrong tree. There is tree that is perfect close to a wall I could prop my elbows on but no they have to pick the top branches of an entirely different rowan tree.
