colours of day

The coming of evening changes cityscapes. The familiar becomes unusual. Safe places where we spent the day, can all to easily become places of fear when the sun goes down. Most of us are able to negotiate the city at both times because we have cars, use buses or taxis. For many, the street sleepers, the homeless, the marginalised, this is not their story. The city is no less warm and welcoming in sun or darkness. So give a thought to those who have less, live with less, expect less because as the Simon Community once said we are all only 3 pay packets away from being homeless.
