Last Day...

Today we travelled back to Sweden but with an afternoon/evening journey we had time for a wander in the countryside first, just below Darwen Tower. The cafe at Tockholes was doing a roaring trade but we had time to wait and enjoy some good walker's food before heading home for a last brew and then the drive to the airport.
Rarely have we travelled with so much luggage but when you have just cleared a family home that's not a surprise. We checked in about 70 kgs of luggage! Arriving in Sundsvall airport we were reunited with our bags and discovered one of the wheels on my suitcase had been neatly amputated somewhere along the way.  A couple of other passengers had luggage questions too and there was only one member of staff left in the airport by then.  She gets full marks for efficiency and helpfulness, but even so it was another hour, around midnight, before we had swopped our luggage into the new case she provided us with.
We finally arrived home around 1 in the morning.
