When in Doubt

Lacking enthusiasm today so I have gone for my fall back of blipping an old camera.  This is Gill's Pentax MX from the early 80s.

A very good manual 35mm film camera which has never let either of us down. I had an ME Super which was one of the first to have electronic controls in that there was no shutter speed dial,  just a couple of up/down buttons on the top plate and a display in the viewfinder to show which speed was selected. As we did some mountain walking the all-manual, no batteries required MX was the one we preferred.

I did see one very similar in Stratford a couple of days ago - slung over the shoulder of someone probably born after the camera was first used!

I really ought to run a film through it!
