Sleepers awoken

No, I'm not talking about Eastern Bloc spies being woken from their long 'sleep' in British suburbia, but railway sleepers which were acquired and cut to size by a friend who knew somebody in the railway business. When I've got them level I shall attempt to move my glasshouse onto them and get the glass in. 

I had the frame put together while at Arduaine and never got round to glazing it. It wouldn't go in the removal van so another friend, who works for a nationwide hardware company, borrowed his firm's van and we collected it one evening and carried it up here. There are some good helpful folk around here.

Not a great picture as it was getting dark and I had to push the ISO right up to get a reasonable shutter speed.
