Up bright and early, got the washing out as it was dry, (later there was a heavy downpour on it!)I did some shopping, and got some Christmassy things from Tiger. A big pan of soup was made for lunch/dinner as Harry went out on a bike ride. In the evening I walked back to the town for the lights switch on event. There was a big screen, a Samba band, fire eaters, Reading Gospel choir and a none banging firework display. It was great to see such a huge crowd that had gathered to watch. I had my first mince pie of the season when I returned home.
