A trip to Christchurch today, to find some Christmas lights and other bits and pieces. A trip around the city found us in New Brighton, so much potential and yet it looks run down and like a slum. There was a family enjoying the beach and two young boys were racing around having a ball so I grabbed an opportunity to capture a couple of images. On the way home we helped rescue 3 miniature ponies that had escaped their paddock when one of the children had left the gate open, the Mother was very concerned as they had gotten very close to the State Highway.
