My Auntie Rosie turned 90 today. So we celebrated with a tea party with China teacups & saucers & lots of bunting & balloons. Rosie loved it! She even had a tiny glass of prosecco to celebrate which was a real novelty.
It was a day we thought we would never see. She’s had a tough time with dementia the past 2 yrs and that has been very difficult to witness.
Today it was all forgotten when family travelled from far and wide for Rosies very special day.
Trying to take photos was like herding cats but in all honesty I was so caught up in the moment I just enjoyed us all being together for a happy occasion.
Rosie just loves photos - so we all watched a slideshow that my very clever cousin put together - it was magic to be able to share all those millions of memories with her today.
A life well lived and loved.
