Snowflakes

The day began with a bacon and brie butty with The Mate who had stayed overnight. Something I always make for the 3 of us.

After lunch we went to get The Bro-In-Law and take him on a tour of the garden centres. We wanted a very full, active day as today marks the second anniversary of his wife's death. We wanted to give him some company.

We went first to Dobbies where these snowflake ceiling decorations caught my eye. Coffee and scones there then off to Houghton Hall for more coffee and to have a laugh at the singing reindeer. I now have a bit more reason to contact them about their "No Photography" policy. Wish me luck!

Next stop Toby Carvery for a huge roast dinner! That wasn't all. Back down to Penrith's North Lakes Hotel for our Wednesday night drinks. So, our alternate Wednesday activities combined into one good day, as good as it could be!

Now then, about yesterday's blip! I opened the greenhouse and noticed a tomato had been left on the plant and gone mouldy. I put the full tomato in Extras and the crop of the same image as the blip.
