Life in Sunny Dubai

Light Trails

It hasn't quite been the twilight zone although, at the end of the day with all that is left on my plate to do, it feels like it! I should list them out just to be able to look back at this in a few months (or years) and will probably think, "these were easy days".

The morning started with an Uber taxi ride with Pauline. We were invited to a Lavylites coffee morning which was held close to G's school. G met us there and we had shawarmas by the beach before getting home. And then it got really busy.

Nara (the cleaner) came and finally collected the TV we gave him back in 2015. He had no place to store it so it has been in G's room until he was ready i.e. going back home. G can't believe how big her room now looks! The next thing was to test the projector which I discovered hidden in her cupboard a few weeks ago. It worked beautifully, but can only be driven by her laptop because it is so old, it only has a VGA connection!

We then went downstairs to the Christmas tree shop for some props for the Nativity play on Saturday. Nothing there, so we went to Lulu which was equally disappointing. Then, as we were already out, we decided to walk to the Frame to get pictures of it.

The bridge to access it doesn't offer the best angle to photograph it, so I've put my picture as an extra. It will be 2019 now before we get to go to the top of it and see the views.

Back home to do lots of catching up with admin things on the computer... too many nitty gritty things that require decisions - it makes your head hurt!
