Chilly Willy

Willy Wallace that is.

Was intending to go further than this up Dumyat today, thought it might be a good vantage point for a sunset over the Forth Valley, but the paths were covered with sheets of ice so detoured off of them.

Ended up heading along the sheep tracks through the jaggy gorse and straight up, but stopped when a paraglider leapt off of the hill a hundred or so feet directly above me, took a sharp right and headed silently straight towards the monument. It was dropping down below freezing where I was, so hopefully he was well wrapped up for his less than five minute flight down. A wooly jumper at the very least.

Snow's forecast for tonight so the carse might look a bit different in the morning. Swithering whether to take the car or fit a pair of sled stabilisers to the bike.
