Ayress

8.6C cloudy and rain again. South Easterly wind to 31 mph with gusts to 41 mph.

Fergus and I went for our walk in the rain after lunch. We headed off across the green intending to go out to the shipyard but it would have been walking into the wind and rain, so we went round to the harbour. We went round the old quay, and out along the shore side of the park to the cemetery. Still heading into the rain going along the park. Ayress was at the new quay and had been loaded with wood. Kingdom of Fife (offshore supply vessel) was out near Davaar island and is now at the new quay with a status of 'restricted manoeuvrability'.

We came back home along the street side of the park and through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (closed for half day).

On the Clip while walking:
A podcast with Mark Kermode (film critic) on movies starring pop stars.

Continuing with the series of podcasts from Radio Scotland, Classic Scottish Albums, I listened to the story behind the Incredible String Band.
