Angels off Auto!

Lovely lunch with Pam in the Stroma, Wharf Street, Montrose.  Thoroughly enjoyed catch-up,  pleasant service and the sun streaming through the window.  Thoroughly recommend it.  Called in at Lidls on way home to pick up some more angels!  Decided to have a go at coming off Auto so I could get a better flame shot.  Tried a number of different shutter speeds on Shutter Priority  -  right up to 1/2000, but 1/1000 (seen here) was as good as any.  I brightened the angel's body up a little bit in post-processing.  On the left is yesterday's blip where the camera was allowed to do it all on Auto.  Worth coming off Auto for today's shot  -  must try it with a bigger candle so I can get a bigger flame with more character.
