The band plays on...

Today was going to be easy - but by the time I’d taken Copper out, cleared out a drain that was full of leaves again (yuk) and a few other chores, it was getting on for midday by the time I iced the cake!
A small cake, so have put on four members of the band this year. The pianist and one or two others are looking a bit shabby to be on the cake now, as they are getting on a bit!
My father brought this little set back from America for us when my children were small, and now his great grandchildren enjoy them!
Now the ham is cooked, stuffing made and all the final touches are made to the decorations - and even the table is set for tomorrow!!
