Day to day today

Have spent the day with my friends down the road. Rolled home just after midnight, having eaten far too much!

My friends are vegan but the cook of the two did serve a turkey crown, bless him. This was the starter, mushroom veloute with truffle oil - it was absolutely gorgeous! They are so hospitable, and there was loads to eat. I made a vegan Christmas pudding, which thankfully was delicious too!
