Ashes Lane

Persuaded son R to accompany me on a short geocaching trip up a track I had not explored before.  We found the caches (or rather R did , one involved climbing over one of those stiles with stone steps up the wall which he can leap over so much quicker than me) . After about 2km we parted company. I walked back to the car and he ran home the long route through the countryside.  Delighted to find lots of Herdwicks. More sheep in extras, I have 18 left and 2 days to use them.
