Flower Friday . . . Hydrangea

I spotted this little green mantis on the white hydrangea.  it was blowing so tricky to get it sharp.  Lots of bumble bee activity in the sweet peas.  The honey bees are thirsty and are lined up around the bird bath drinking.  While I was snapping them with the macro lens on three bell birds were above me in the tree.  By the time I had the right lens to get them a tui came and chased them away.  Neat to see them close up even if I didn't record it.
