Hyacinth for Flower Friday

There's nothing like flowering bulbs in pots to make January more beautiful. The florist departments are always so generous with their offerings at this time of the year when January seems to be very long indeed!

This pink Hyacinth is the one I bought at the end of December as a New Year's decoration. You can see it in its original state in extras.

Hyacinths take on graceful forms of their own - even when I give this one very little water. There is a second bloom that will soon start to open. What a lovely perspective!
