There was a bit of light today, but unfortunately by the time I got the drone in the air it had clouded over. I had some practice flying without GPS which I find quite scary as the drone gets taken by the wind. For the test I have to learn to counter the wind speed and direction and be able to fly it in certain directions as instructed by the examiner. It is so much easier when the GPS does all that for you.
This is the lochan beside Duill Cottage. We dug it out about 10 years ago, but it is getting quite silted up again. It is rain fed, so tends to dry up in the spring. Still.. Herons like it, Mallard duck like it and occasionally Otters like it too.
