Pictorial blethers

By blethers

Suddenly, in the gloom ...

We were at it again: out walking as darkness fell. There had been the odd bright spell while we were still having lunch, late because we'd entertained people to coffee after church, but by the time we got out it was already after sunset and the rain was never far away.

We were coming along the riverside track beside Benmore Gardens when there was a sudden lightening of the wet road. And there it was - the moon, riding above the tall trees which were black against the dusk. The strange thing is that it isn't a full moon at all just now - not even a half moon - but my iPhone seemed incapable of seeing it as other than a sphere.

It stayed out till we were back at the car, then vanished as the rain poured down again.
