street level

I went back out this afternoon to pick up all the litter I saw on my walk yesterday. In a short stretch I filled a carrier bag - mostly cans, plastic bottles and disposable coffee cups. Most likely thrown out of the windows of cars, since very few people walk along here.

This is the road which runs along the field in front of our house. I thought I'd get down to ground level and see what it might look like to a small animal. I was careful not to get run over :-).

Behind the silver birches is the Cairn Water, immortalised by local harp player and composer Wendy Stewart in this beautiful piece.
