Around the island again!

We had breakfast at 8 am then rushed to Coco Dende to be there for 9 am.
Aldemir was already waiting for us.
I also saw Santos, who was unfortunately not our Captain this time.
But it was nice to see him and he said we would meet anyways on the way, as all boats do the same trip.

Since the tide was different this time, the tour was broken down slightly different. We spent a lot of time in the shallow waters for the natural pools snorkelling, then set off to Castelhanos, where we spent the hottest time of the day.
This time it was much busier than on Christmas Day and we had to go to the huts next door for your pastel.
I am glad we did, as the pastels were incredible good and much better than those we had last time.
I had my Cocoa and BiriBiri Juice, chatted a bit with Santos and sat with Neil and Aldemir in the shadow.
We did a short walk along the beach be fore we embarked again on our boat.
It was a lovely ride and we also drove though the mangroves before we went to Sao Sebastiao or Cova de Onca for our Lobster Lunch.
It was after 3pm or even 4pm when we left and steered to the oyster bar boat as our last stop.
Aldemir and I had an ice cream, which was coming in a plastic bag looking like a condom!
Neil remarked this, which will probably haunt Aldemir forever ….

On the last stretch back to Velho, we were all quite knackered.
We managed however to go to Cheiro do Flor for a coffee and sat there quite a while before were parted and walked home.
We did stop on the way for another beer, mainly to listen to the good musician who was sitting in front of one of the shops and entertained the guests in the restaurants opposite.
We then walked home and showered the sweat and salt off, just to realise we are actually too tired for anything and that tomorrow will be a rest day.

Blipping Velho beach just before we got on the boat. I like the shadow of the palm tree.
