Poppy Bud

Last night I slept incredibly well, but could have slept even longer - I really did not want to get up this morning! But up I got, and over to Metheringham I went!

I took this shot of a damp looking poppy bud on the way to their house from the station in Meg. It's been incredibly cold today and windy, which kept blowing my hood down. I wished I'd put a hat and scarf on!

My Dad's procedure on his ear went well, and hopefully that will be  the end of the matter. Today they had a bloke round from the Council to check all their electrics. He arrived 20 minutes before I had to leave to get my train, and had found no issues when I left so hopefully that went smoothly too.

Work's not been busy. It was even cold in the shop!
